Ours is a small operation run in conjunction with the family ranch. Our season runs from September through November.

Mule Deer

We hunt some of the west's premier mule deer habitat. We have the luxury of managing large tracts of private land for healthy deer herds. The terrain consists of open range lands dissected by brushy draws. Hunting consists of early morning spotting, followed by a stalk for a closer shot. "My ideal deer hunt is to tip one over in his bed." Our success rate on deer consistently run at 100% annually.

Antelope

Wyoming has more pronghorn antelope than any other place in the world. Our antelope hunting consists of spotting and stalking on the open plains at any time of day. Antelope are plentiful. "A good hunter can leave at daybreak and be back by noon with a nice antelope." This is not anything like white tail hunting. Once again our success rates on antelope are nearly 100% annually.

Elk

Elk hunting can be rigorous. We recommend that you be in good physical shape for our high camp elk hunts. Our reliable horses will take you 18 miles up the mountain to our camp which sits at an elevation of 8,700 feet on a blue ribbon trout stream. The camp consists of individual wall tents and a cook tent. We've taken elk at 11,000 feet, but elk are very weather dependent and the herds move accordingly. "The elk are where the elk are", therefore expect to be flexible and ready to move. As everything is packed in by horseback, we have a 250 #lb personal weight limit and a #25 lb baggage weight limit, excluding guns. "Due to the remote nature of the camp and the majestic scenery, this challenging hunt can be the experience of a lifetime.

We specialize in bow-hunting for elk. The ideal time to hunt the high country is in September when the elk are in the rut and the aspens are turning.

Whitetail deer were introduced into this area just after WWII. We have such good habitat that there is an overabundance of whitetail. They are an under utilized resource. We can produce trophy heads. Whitetail inhabit the brushier, more well watered country along the face of the Bighorn Range. The big bucks are most easily hunted during the rut in November, primarily through stand hunting.
